Keeping it Short for Spring + Channeling my 90’s Britney

As I recently stated in an Instagram post {@Eva_Phan, for those of you wondering}, most of the time, my style is middle-age soccer mom summering in Nantucket, sometimes I dress like a basic 18 year old, and occasionally I dress like this: some combination of Britney Spears in the “… Baby One More Time” video, a preppy 90’s throwback, and Cher from “Clueless.”

Regardless, I’m loving this burgundy American Apparel {RIP} tennis skirt paired with the navy and white ribbed stripe for a little color, but still toned down, contrast.  Paired with the casual sneaker, it’s a definite throwback.

This outfit was a little outside of my usual comfort zone, but I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t actually really like wearing it.
