Ever since putting on this Lilly Pulitzer Dusk Jumpsuit I haven’t wanted to take it off. It is just. so. comfortable. Sure, wearing it might be just a *bit* premature considering there’s snow predicted for today in NYC {rude. It’s April, as much as I love it, I don’t need more snow}, but it’s still spring, and I refuse to make my wardrobe succumb to the cold weather.

Dress the jumpsuit down with espadrille wedges like I did here, or dress it up with a chunky gold heel like these {I have them. I love them. They’re just so comfortable}. As much as a love a gold shoe, I do like how a bright shoe provides an eye catching contrast to the sea of blue in this jumpsuit, and also adds another level of coordination with the potential for a matching lip color! I’m wearing this lipstick in Sabotage, which was a perfect match to the bright pink in my shoes!

My general rule of thumb for jewelry is to do either a statement earring or a statement necklace, never both {except for occasion wear. Galas, prom, homecoming, benefits, pageants, feel free to go all out}. Here, I did a geometric burst rhinestone earring to contrast the soft, rounded shells, paired with my usual more delicate everyday jewelry.

Here’s the thing: a lot of Lilly Pulitzer clothing is dry clean only. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised to find that this jumpsuit actually is machine washable! I don’t have to worry about wearing it out and about, which is just going to make me all the more likely to wear it frequently in the coming months. I definitely will be, given that this jumpsuit is more comfortable than my pajamas. Seriously.

You look so amazing in this jumpsuit! I have one from last year and I’m obsessed with it. The fact that it’s machine washable is a HUGE plus too!
I am such a sucker for jumpsuits, they are always so comfortable to wear! Really loving the print on this one! So fun and vibrant! 🙂
