DRESS | SHOES | NECKLACE
The past few weeks of my life have been an absolute whirlwind, kind of like this Marianna dress! I’m going to be completely honest — when I first tried this dress on, I definitely texted it to three of my friends trying to decide if I should get it. Between the colors, the midi length, and the asymmetrical sleeves, this dress wasn’t exactly in my usual comfort zone. I took the plunge, and I’m so glad I did! This dress is such a stunner in real life, and would be perfect for a spring, summer, or even early fall wedding! The Marianna dress definitely makes a statement. It’s feminine and romantic, yet the color palette makes it bold and fun.
Every time I put this dress on, all I can think is “I was feeling twirly!” By “think,” I mean envision the scene in New Girl season 1 episode 13, “Valentine’s Day” when Jess is being dragged away by Nick and screaming “I was feeling twirly!” {Yes, I’m a little New Girl obsessed and probably remember every plot line ever, but I did have to Google for the exact episode.}
My shoes {believe it or not}, are under $30 full price AND are seriously so comfortable. I wear these for 7+ hours at a time with no problem! I’m wearing the taller 3.75″ heel, which you can find here. My baby sister {okay, she’s 14, but I’m in denial} has the 2.5″ version of these which are perfect if you’re not a fan of taller heels. As Ashley Benson once said when Troian Bellisario told her to “wear sensible shoes” on Pretty Little Liars, I wear three inches or I wear nothing. You can find the 2.5″ heel here. Both come in multiple spring and summer ready colors! For shoes that are both cute and comfortable, I’ve been loving this brand lately. Below, you can shop everything in this post from the Marianna dress to the mascara I’m wearing! Meanwhile, I’ll be twirling away on the streets of New York. 😉
