NYFW S/S 2019 Day 1 OOTD – Spotted at Sézane

You all know that I’m all about a good floral moment, whether it’s on my clothes, in a vase in my apartment, or in this case, in a storefront window. Ever since seeing Sézane’s dreamy floral windows on Instagram, I couldn’t help but want to get over there as soon as possible. After months of wanting to go {which is ridiculous given that I live less than two miles from it}, I finally made it down, just in time to shoot my day one look of the NYFW Spring/Summer 2019 season!

Wednesday {day 1} started off slowly, consisting of a release party for Caroline Vazzana’s new book, “Making it in Manhattan,” at Bloomingdale’s, and a quick after party for a PR firm! Nothing too crazy, but much appreciated to ease into the pace of Fashion Week.  I opted for a lace yoke black turtleneck and blue flute skirt, paired with pearl strap stilettos and my new favorite bag. Originally I planned on wearing pants, but with NYC being a scathing 93 degrees with over 80% humidity, it just wasn’t going to happen.

Lovlies, for once in my life I’m not pale as a ghost! In case you missed my Instagram story earlier last week, I had my first spray tan. Vita Liberata did an amazing job, and I’ve been getting compliments all week about how natural it looks. I know everyone has mixed opinions about artificial tans, but as much as I absolutely love the beach and laying out in the sun, I’d almost rather spray tan vs. actual tan because of how dangerous laying out in the sun can be for your skin! Plus, this spray tan happens to be completely safe, nontoxic, and natural, just saying.

This heat was makeup melting down my face bad, so face makeup just wasn’t about to happen. Instead, I went for a natural glam eye, and my go-to mid pink lipstick. Believe it or not, the shoes, skirt, and top for this outfit cost me all of $16 total. NYFW shopping is…not inexpensive, so trust me when I say that I don’t expect a look to come together for less than the price of an entree at Obicà like this ever happen again. 😂

More NYFW looks, details, and recaps to come, but for now, I’m catching a few hours of sleep before waking up for Lilly Pulitzer’s After Party Sale! If you haven’t read my guide to shopping the sale, click here for all the details you need to know.

xx,
