Wow, was October a whirlwind of a month! 31 days? It felt a lot more like three. From Riverdale and Dynasty *finally* coming back on the CW to Ulta Beauty sending me some of my new favorite products, I’ve got so many favorites to share with you all!
1. Her Campus’ College Fashion Week
I attended Her Campus’ College Fashion Week once again, and of course, it was a good time! This year I got to meet someone I’ve been following for a few years now, Gabby from @TheSwirlBlog. One of my favorite parts of every event I attend is always meeting up with some of my online friends IRL! Shoutout to Viviane of @jolieandgrace and Samantha of Style by Samantha who I also had the pleasure of meeting in person this month!
College Fashion Week always has awesome installations, and the Ulta Beauty Bar was no exception! I had such a fun time getting primped and ready to go see the shows by one of Ulta Beauty‘s expert stylists. Ulta Beauty has been a longtime favorite makeup store for me because of their diverse selection of products. I didn’t even know Ulta Beauty actually stocks more than 20,000 products prior to College Fashion Week! Their installation had a super cute photo booth where I made the gif below.
2. Nars Climax Mascara
I don’t know what I can say to this other than thank you, Ulta, for sending me this mascara to try because I’ve legitimately never loved a mascara as much as I love this one. This is the ONLY mascara I’ve tried that is truly clump-free and I could not be more excited about it. I’m going to have to figure out what to do with the backstocked bottles I have of my previous favorite now, because this is all I want to use now!
3. Makeup Revolution London Highlighting Palette in Ignite
This highlighting quad is $15. FIFTEEN. It’s better than any other highlighter I’ve ever tried and honestly, I just can’t get over what a steal it is. The palette comes with 4 luminous shades, and is available at Ulta Beauty!
4. Tarte Don’t Quit Your Daydream Palette
This eyeshadow palette is speaking to my soul! There isn’t a single color I haven’t dug into {which is super weird for me when it comes to palettes}. If you’re a girl who likes the shimmery gold and copper shadows like moi, this palette is for you!
5. All American
It’s no secret that I’m a big CW fan, given that Riverdale and Dynasty are two of my favorite shows currently on the air. The CW’s newest show, All American, has been climbing to the top of my watch list so far this season! It’s funny, dramatic, and touches on relevant societal issues in a meaningful way.
6. Currently on Repeat
So. Much. Good. Music. My apologies to my neighbors for singing my way through October, but also not really because they keep throwing big parties blasting the same sugary sweet pop songs songs on repeat at 2 pm. Normally I like to shout out a few of my top favorites from the playlist, but I honestly like these all so much that the list would be way too long this time around. Just take my word for it.
