Craft Preppy A Preppy DIY -How to Make Lilly Pulitzer Print Pencils!

August 30, 2013

Hi Prepperinas!  If you’ve seen my last two posts you would know I’m getting ready to go back to school!  I figured out a really easy way to make Lilly Pulitzer Print Pencils that are super cute and hard to loose!  I did them in prints that match my Binder Covers!

        Supplies

  •  Tacky Glue
  • Scissors
  • Printouts of whatever Lilly Pulitzer Prints you decide to use
  • Mechanical Pencils
  • A Paper Cutter

   Directions

  1.  Use your paper cutter to cut a small strip out of one of the Lilly Pulitzer Prints.  Put a small dot of Tacky Glue on it and spread it around with your finger.

  2.  Slide the paper under the clip of the Mechanical Pencil glue side facing up.  Slide it under enough so the right side of the paper evenly folds over the top of the clip.  Press this down.

  3.  Continue wrapping the left side of the paper over the clip until it covers the top of the clip.  Press this down and use your scissors to cut off the excess paper.  Press down the edge.

  4.  Repeat these steps with your other patterns and the rest of you pencils and then you have a super cute set of Lilly Pulitzer Pencils!

These pencils are so cute and hard to loose!  Hope you like them!
Love and Stay Preppy,
Eva
