Fall’s arrived, and with that, so has the return of darker colors {I refer to them as the “Bold” Crayola marker pack}. Being someone who generally dresses like it’s spring year round, the thought of having to wear brown, or even worse, black, makes me want to slightly cry. Luckily, one trend in particular is making it just too easy to keep color in your wardrobe, even in the colder months!
That’s right, embroidered skirts, and well, clothing in general, have been taking over the markets, and I’m not mad about it.
Ask anyone I know, this skirt has been one of my favorite pieces in my closet for the last few months now, and what I love so much about it are the infinite ways to style it. I’ve paired it with burgundy and periwinkle lace up tops, and olive cold shoulder top, a black cold shoulder top, and the white ruffle cold shoulder top pictured here.
Effortless. Exactly what I would describe the process behind styling this skirt. No thought necessary.
Oh, and did I forget to mention? It’s currently on sale for $12 {but you wouldn’t know it by looking at it}
The makeup? Of course a statement red lip, and what’s better? My favorite shade matches the skirt perfectly.
Below I’ve linked some other embroidered skirt options as well! Have any favorite fall trends? Let me know in the comments!

Eva
