6 Easy No-Fail Valentine’s Day Gifts for Her

February 7, 2018

*Ironically enough, as I type out this post, I’m watching 29 women unlucky in love all compete for one man who’s also been unlucky in love. This is giving me a lot of hope for my future. Bottom line: don’t watch the Bachelor alone at 3 am while writing about Valentine’s Day single.*
  Women can be some of the most difficult people to shop for, but they can also be the most fun to give gifts to! Whether you’re looking for the perfect gift for your girlfriend or something special for your bestie, these are six no-fail Valentine’s Day gifts that make gifting for you that much less stressful.
 {from left to right, top to bottom}

1. Spa Day {Robe}

      Every woman needs some time to de-stress and relax, and there’s no better way to do that than a spa day! Put together a basket of spa essentials, such as a robe, lotion, skin oil, and whatever other spa essentials you can dream of. For a little something extra special, toss in a spa gift card as well. Another option is to skip the basket and just go directly to the spa!

2. Simple Rhinestone or Diamond Stud Earrings

      A little sparkle goes a long way! A simple diamond or cubic zirconia stud earring is a basic jewelry staple that she can wear every single day, not just Valentine’s Day. Marilyn Monroe wasn’t kidding when she said “diamonds are a girl’s best friend.” They just match everything.

3. Fragrance

    I’m always one for discovering a new pretty scent. Share your personal favorite fragrance by gifting it to your bestie, or find a scent that you’d love to recognize as your girlfriend’s by giving it to her as a thoughtful and useful Valentine’s Day gift.

4. Handbag

    A handbag makes a wonderful gift for any holiday for several reasons. It’s useful, it allows you to find something that fits her style, and it doesn’t require you to know a size! If you’re lost on what type to get her, keep in mind that classic styles done with feminine color and detail makes for a perfectly fitting gift for Valentine’s Day that fits the romance of the holiday, but isn’t too over-the-top to the point that she can’t wear it on other days of the year.

5. A Delicate Necklace

   Statement jewelry is fun, however delicate necklaces make for a fantastic gift because they’re the type of necklace she can wear every day. Pick a simple, delicate necklace that she can wear alone or with other pieces. Jewelry staples such as the previously mention earrings or a necklace allow her to think of you every time she puts it on!

6. Sweater

    There are two different types of sweater that make really ideal gifts:
    1. The Classic, Polished Staple – A basic sweater that she can dress up to wear for work or date night, or dress down to wear with a pair of jeans and booties. If it’s soft, this will become the go-to sweater in her closet.
    2. The Cozy Lounge Piece – You know the type. Crew neck, pullover, some sort of cute phrase on it, and bonus points if it’s fleece lined. The type of sweater you throw on the second you change out of your regular clothes and into your comfortable clothing. Sweaters with relatable phrases like this “goal digger” sweater can make a fun gift for one of your friends!
Below I’ve linked ideas for all six of these types of gifts, to eliminate some of the shopping for you!
xx,
E

      Same here! Plus you can’t collect spa days which makes them the perfect gift — even the girl who has everything could probably still use a spa day!
