An Eiffel Tower Moment with Morning Lavender

There’s two places I’ve wanted to go for as long as I can remember: Paris and Vietnam. Given the chance to go to Paris Fashion Week, I took the opportunity and ran with it. Although I try to avoid touristy spots wherever I am, I found myself actively being a tourist in Paris…and liking it {I know, I was shocked too}. Like any good tourist in Paris, my trip had to include at least one visit to the Eiffel Tower.

DRESS

Yes, of course I had to wear the girliest, most romantic, feminine outfit I could think of. This mid-length tulle dress from Morning Lavender was the perfect option. The dress has a mock wrap bodice, and a low back with crossed straps.

I actually think it could be a really cute bridesmaids dress for a more casual wedding, as well! The mid-length keeps the dress slightly more casual while still being formal. The tulle also elevates the look of the dress, while not being as formal as satin.

I wore a white ribbon as a belt around the dress to bring in the waist. This dress does run on the larger side, so I do strongly recommend ordering a size down from what you normally would. If you’re not necessarily a pink fan, Morning Lavender does have fun tulle options in almost every other color!

When these photos were shot, it was about 24 degrees and snowing, not necessarily ideal weather for a camisole dress! I ended up throwing on one of my favorite white sweaters on top of the dress and it looked surprisingly cute! I love this because it gives this dress a new level of versatility in your closet as a skirt as well. Happy accidents are the best type of accident, right?

Thank you to Morning Lavender for sending over this dress for me to style! While I was gifted the dress, I was not paid to write this post and all opinions and ideas are my own.
