Eva’s Enamoured By – March Favorites

March 28, 2018

Facts: I thought it was boring to keep calling my monthly favorites “_____ favorites,” so I spent a little too much time on thesaurus.com trying to find a synonym for “favorite” that starts with an “E.” The result? A new cheesy series title for my favorites, beginning with this post, my March favorites. If you read my favorites last month {click here to do so!}, you’ll remember that it was basically exclusively beauty. This month, I didn’t really try out many new beauty items, but I have discovered a ton of new clothing items, accessories, and shows that I just can’t get enough of.

Vineyard Vines Open Bell Sleeve Cardigan

I purchased one of these oh-so-soft cardigans back in August, when Vineyard Vines first released the style in grey…and I haven’t taken it off since. Seeing that Vineyard Vines re-released the style in navy for spring, I obviously had to have it, and I am so glad I do. The navy is a little more pratical for me than the grey because it pairs better overall with my wardrobe, and I don’t have to worry so much about spills {happens when you go to an art and design school}. I love the grey just a litttle bit more, because it’s impossible for me to find a shade of grey that actually looks good on me, and this is one of the few that do. That being said, you really can’t go wrong with either color, and I highly recommend both.

That ’70s Show

I actually watched through That ’70s Show last spring, however I few weeks ago I made the decision to re-watch it, and have now gotten sucked right back into the show. It’s funny, witty, and the fact that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are now actually married might be the cutest thing in TV ever. It may be set in the 1970s, but it still remains relevant to today. I’d be scared if anyone’s small town was really like this, but for the purpose of comedy teen television, it’s fantastic, relatable, and delightfully campy.

Longchamp Le Pliage

This one probably comes as no surprise to anyone who’s read my Longchamp Le Pliage review {if you haven’t click here to do so!}. This bag has gotten so much use this month, that it would be wrong not to include it in my March favorites. I’ve been carrying this bag anywhere and everywhere — school, work, hanging out with friends, and it’s already been dragged through airport security and onto a plane way too many times already. Over the last month it’s held up incredibly well, and I’m sure it will for a long time to come!

Currently on Repeat

Originally I was just going to pick one song off of my saved Spotify songs to include in my March favorites, but there were just too many that I couldn’t do it. Instead, I’m bringing back “Currently on Repeat,” and have put eleven of my favorites into one playlist for you! If you’re looking for more frequent music recommendations, check out my Instagram here where I post them on my stories. Click here to see March’s playlist. My favorites on it are “Ta Meillure Ennemie,” “Worry No More,” and “This Town,” {“This Town” is a fantastic travel song!}, but honestly, I can’t get enough of all of them.

Queer Eye

Fellow blogger Tomi of GoodTomiCha recommended this show on her Instagram stories, and ever since I’ve been hooked. I think I watched all eight episodes in two days, then followed the better part of the cast on Instagram. The show is like a nicer, sassier version of “What Not to Wear” meets a HGTV home makeover show meets the Barefoot Contessa and I just can’t get enough of it.
