Spring is in the air, which means that warmer weather is on it’s way, and the return of Lilly season is here. Although I’m not always all too fond of Lilly Pulitzer‘s fall and winter collections, Lilly is back and better than ever with spring, and I’m loving it. Spring 2018 is the perfect blend of Lilly’s staple styles {such as the Mila shift here} and trend influenced pieces {like the Rosalia Dress here}.
The La Fortuna Ruffle Off the Shoulder Top runs big. I usually take a 00/XXS, and I’m wearing a 00 skort with the XXS La Fortuna. In person, it’s really evident that the top is way too loose to be worn with the skort.
LOVED this skort. Kind of wishing I picked it up, but I have no idea where I would wear it!
The Rosalia Dress was SO cute, just not on me. The dragon bell sleeves are incredible, I want to track down a top with these exact sleeves, but maybe in a solid color and more tight fitting. The Rosalia runs wide for sure. It was too wide on me, and my friend that bought it ended up sizing down.
One more note on size: The Dahlia short is so cute and I was really excited to try them on! They’re sized XXS-XL, and seeing that I’m normally a solid XXS, that’s what I tried on. For whatever reason, the XXS runs really small. I highly recommend sizing up in this one!
