What to Wear on the Fourth of July

June 22, 2018

The Fourth of July is quickly coming upon us, and I am SO ready to start seeing patriotic red, white, and blue outfits popping up in my feed! The more I’ve been online shopping {or online window shopping}, the more I’ve been seeing just how many cute festive options there are this year. As much as I love a festive look, I prefer Fourth of July outfits with more classic preppy style vs. more obvious Independence Day outfits with flag print, eagles, etc. The good news is that there are so many feminine, classic, style options that will still make you patriotic without being too obvious about it!

I shared this dress just a few days ago, and it is so perfect for the Fourth of July! It comes in this classic blue and white seersucker, as well as a bright red linen. IT HAS POCKETS. 😍 See more photos of this dress {and it’s adorable back} here!

Note: these shorts are actually the pink linked scallop shorts in red! They’re available in this true red, white, and a pretty bright blue, all perfect for Independence Day!

My absolute favorite finishing touch to any patriotic red, white, and blue outfit? This red liquid lipstick that is probably the most pigmented thing I’ve ever seen in my life. One swipe and your lipstick is already solid!
