All the way back in my March favorites, I mentioned my struggle to come up with a cute name for my monthly favorites so the title for the favorites post each month wasn’t just “_____ favorites.” I settled on “Eva’s Enamoured By” thinking it was kind of a stretch but usable. The answer was right in front of me the entire time and literally part of my website name. How I didn’t realize this very obvious solution for almost five months, I have abso-freaking-lutely no idea, but I’ve come to it now. “Eva’s Enamoured By” is now “That’s Darling” which is about 10x cuter and makes a lot more sense. Regardless of the title, my July favorites include everything from art exhibits to the new Mamma Mia to camera bags.
I finally got around to seeing this exhibit after wanting to since it was announced and WOW I’m glad I did. While I wasn’t completely in love with the every piece selected {then again, who ever is?}, being able to see such craftsmanship up close was incredible. I’ve been known to complain about staying in art galleries for too long, but put me in a fashion or costume exhibit and I’d be fine staying there for hours. Fact: I’ve seen the First Ladies Dress Collection at the Smithsonian probably at least three times because I’m that in love with it.
My friend, Annie, and her husband, Robin, made me try this while I was with them in Detroit, and now I can’t stop eating it. I’ve been a huge Noodles & Co fan since I was little, but a Wisconsin Mac girl through and through up until this point in my life. Now I’m in a mac and cheese identity crisis. I’m also relatively certain that whoever’s behind the Noodles and Co Instagram probably thinks I’m crazy for the amount of times I’ve tagged them in my stories in the last two months without ever once partnering with them.
I did an in-depth review about this cute little device as part of a collaboration I did with Clarisonic a few weeks ago here. I loved it initially, but that’s happened to me with skincare products before just to have them go south. Nope, not the case here. I’ve been using this every day and I’m still just as in love with it now as I was then. I have the light pink which is adorable {and matches my aesthetic perfectly}, but it also comes in a bunch of other fun colors which you can see here!
I’ve been carrying this camera bag all month and I’m in love love love. It’s the perfect balance of being a small crossbody bag, but at the same time also really spacious. I can fit my phone, glasses, an iPhone charger, lipstick, rollerball fragrance, and wallet in here without it being stuffed full. It’s right up there on my list of all time favorite handbags with my Longchamp Le Pliage {here’s a full review of that bag}. Below are a few camera bags I’m crushing on!
I can’t tell you exactly where it is {for privacy reasons}, but just know that I’m so so excited about it and can’t wait to share how I’m decorating it with all of you! I’ll get to reveal more later and I have a ton of upcoming content planned around it, but for now it’s hush hush. As excited as I am for it, it’s also beyond stressing me out. After everything gets moved in I have a feeling that a good portion of this massive headache is going to go away. It has three walk-in closets though so it’s all good.
New month, new music! 14 songs I’ve been listening to nonstop this month. Typically I like to give you a few of my top faves that stand out above the rest, but honestly this month I’ve been listening to all of these several times a week if not several times a day. If I really had to pick, “Only You” by Cheat Codes and Little Mix has a slight edge above the rest, just because I found it first and have been listening to it the longest.
