The start of my summer travels brought me to a location that has been at the top of my US bucket list for years – Palm Beach. Being the avid Lilly lover that I am, Palm Beach is like the motherland – the birthplace of all things Lilly Pulitzer! That being said, I think the entirety of the wardrobe I packed for Palm Beach was Lilly, there’s nothing more fitting!
Palm Beach did not disappoint with Lilly – it seemed like at every turn someone was wearing it! It was a welcome change of pace from the neutrals and muted colors of NYC that I’ve grown used to.
When I spotted the Lilly Pulitzer Tori Dress online, I wrote it off almost immediately. I don’t tend towards necklines that cut in on my shoulders out of fear that they make them look too broad. Then I tried it on. Y’all, this dress fits like a GLOVE, and if you haven’t tried it already, you need to. I haven’t seen a single person that this isn’t completely flattering on. Plus, it. has. pockets. The one fatal flaw I have with the Lilly Pulitzer Tori Dress is that the lace on the back reaches to the neck with a single hook. That hook can be really difficult to fasten if you’re trying to get into the dress without someone helping you!
I paired the dress with these triple heart stacked acrylic palm branch earrings. I made them using a laser cutter and have been obsessed with them lately. They match almost every outfit perfectly! I’ve been thinking about selling them as a project to take on this summer.
For shoes, I went with a simple gold sandal that’s not only incredibly comfortable and easy to walk in, but gives the look a little pop of metallic shimmer. These sandals come in several different colors!
