Thank you Revolve for gifting me the items mentioned in this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
When the weather gets hot and days get longer, I can’t help but finding myself falling into a summer uniform. The same handful of basic, flattering pieces just get worn on cycle, because well, it’s too hot to be bothered with layers of sequin blazers and feathered camis when you’re just trying to go on a chè run for the third time that week and go to a speakeasy with the girls (my personal choice lately is Dear Irving Gramercy, not Hudson).
It’s no secret that my go-to retailer the last few years for any season and well let’s face it, basically any event, date, trip, flight, is Revolve. I came across this pink NBD skort a couple weeks ago when it dropped on the website, and naturally, I had to have it.
Let me tell you, the heat in Manhattan in the summer is no joke. Despite being in the north, between near 100 temperatures and sky high humidity, the island becomes a sauna for 3 months. For every meeting and errand I’ve been going to lately, I’ve been trying to leave the house in the least amount of clothing appropriate. Ever since this skort arrived, I’ve wanted to wear it every other day for how comfortable and easy to style it is.

As someone constantly traveling, it’s a must that the pieces in my wardrobe can be dressed up or down. This number fit the bill perfectly — being a skort rather than a skirt, it’s way more comfortable and easy to move in on days when I’m doing a lot of walking, but the clean, sleek silhouette makes it impossibly easy to dress up with a pair of heels and some cute accessories.
A white crop cami is one of my year-round staples because a. it matches everything and b. it’s so. freaking. comfortable. It’s one of the easiest pieces to pack and a great piece for achieving carefree chic. Click here, here, and here, to shop some of my favorites from Revolve.

In a basic outfit, accessories are everything. I kept my shoes and bag basic, adding the sparkle with rhinestone top straps, crystal heart earrings, and a long link charm bracelet. With this resurgence of 90s and 2000s style, I am SO with the comeback of the charm bracelet. I knew there was a reason I kept mine all these years.

REVOLVE SIZING
Sizing tends to differ slightly between labels at Revolve, so pay attention to which brand you’re ordering from before you do! This skort is NBD and I took my normal XS. For length reference, I’m just shy of 5’6.” I’ve found that h:ours, Song of Style, and Lovers & Friends, usually have consistent sizing with NBD. Revolve reviews offer product-specific sizing (runs big, runs small), so be sure to scroll down!
OTHER REVOLVE SUMMER FAVORITES
I’ve been wearing the following Revolve pieces on repeat this summer, click to shop:
SONG OF STYLE SULLY DRESS
Runs: TTS. Consider sizing down if you have a small chest, consider sizing up if you have wide hips
Wearing: XS
H:OURS PAGNE MIDI DRESS
@evaphan my Xbox was actually not working during that second clip pls send help + ignore the massive bug bites on my leg ##onlinegaming ##summer ##fashiontiktok
♬ Build a B*tch – Bella Poarch
Runs: TTS, consider sizing up if you have a larger chest
Wearing: XS
LOVERS + FRIENDS AMERY SWEATER

Runs: TTS, however has a ton of stretch
Wearing: XS, could probably fit up to a Medium, however would be considerably more sheer
Note: this sweater is SO cute but it is definitely sheer. I like the sheer look because it’s great for layering, but if sheer isn’t your thing, consider taking your true size or sizing up, before sizing down
